We have 3 cats - - 2 indoor and one outdoor. While the outdoor cat is well behaved indoors (and often spends time with me up in my man-cave), she does not get along well with other cats - as she wants to be the boss - - and neither of the indoor cats will have ANY of that.
Martha is quite well accommodated, having her own heated sleeping pad in the sunroom with a cat-sized portal to the great outdoors in one wall.
She may often be found, however, looking through the glass door into the house - - watching the goings on. I think we serve as her entertainment - - like she's watching us on 'cat TV' :-)

Great story Merlin, a couple of good shots...long time since I had a cat as a pet but I remember him fondly :O)
Thanks for sharing....

Appreciate the comment :-)
Martha adopted us 5 years ago in San Antonio. She was a neighborhood cat, left with another family when her original owners departed and didn't think their 13 year old cat would like to make another move. Well - - I guess she fooled them - - because when WE moved north - - she had to come with us. She is 18 now, which I think is about 2538 in cat years, but still seems to be as spry and active as the kitten she appears to be.

I liked the 'through the door' photo - as it was early morning, and she was back-lit by the sun. I took several photos - and that was the one that turned out the best.
