Thank you, too. Speaking of Vancouver & N. England, I was in Vancouver for an Alaska cruise in July. THAT is a very livable city. It was overcast and rainy, but clean and pretty.
Now to N. England. I don't actually live in N. England. NY is considered mid-Atlantic, but we went on a fabulous N. England & Canada cruise last Summer.
I highly recommend it. You will get great pictures, especially from Bar Harbor, to Nova Scotia. Be sure to visit Peggy's Cove. It is gorgeous! You can see some of the pix I took at HLippe.smugmug.com. Look at Cruise 2010.
here are a few from pnw corner of the world
I will check out your pictures for sure. I kind of think you were talking about Vancouver British Columbia when you spoke of your cruise to Alaska. I'm in Vancouver, WA. We are just across the Columbia River from Portland, OR. The two cities are often confused.

Now whydja have to go and confuse me with two cities, in the same geographic area, with the same name?
Yes, we picked up the ship in Vancouver, BC.
I know....dumb to have two names the same so close.
Such beautiful shots ALL! Had to add a few more.
love all those pix. Aren't we fortunate to have such beauty all around us! Sometimes we take it for granted!
