Foggy Sunrise

Sun rising over Queer Pond (I can not find any history on the naming of this pond) I was out shooting this morning in hopes that that the fog would lift a bit. I shot at this site for a bout 3 hours while the fog lifted and decided I liked the foggy shots better.

Love the kind of quietness this photo brings. The fog helps the simplicity and mood I think.

Thank you carlysue and ianhargraves1066, it's a really pretty pond in he southern adirondack mountains. It was a good day for shooting, lots of dew on webs and plan sots with he quite water.

Hard to imagine there are some who would pass up this gorgeous image, but I guess the diversity of our interests and styles is part of what makes this such a wonderful hobby (or profession). Most definitely my kind of art!
