I got to see this beautiful Peregrine Falcon yesterday. Poor thing had a collision with a truck when it was young, and almost died.
the University Raptor Center worked with him, and saved his life, but he lost his right wing.
I love his bright eyes.

Yes, they have been clocked over 250 mph. The nasal hole allows them to breathe at high speed w/o passing out.
