This tulip species grows in my back yard, so over the years I've taken many color photos of its lavender pink flowers with their brilliant yellow centers. I was surprised by how much I like it in B&W.

Oh yes! The glow grabs my attention immediately. The smooth midtones of the background don't interfere. The benefit of the Rule of Odds is perfectly demonstrated in the composition. Very, very nice, Lisa!

Yes, the satin-like glow/sheen is attention getting… one could imagine an April evening, flower bed gently freckled and spotted with such luminescence… I like that idea a lot… Good job!!!
