I have a beautiful (to me) photo of a bird at our backyard feeder; would like to use it in a competition. Problem is the feeder perch is visible and I don't know how to make it disappear, would like to replace it with a tree limb from another photo. Can anyone help?

I see nothing wrong with the perch, it has to be sitting on something

PSA rules require that your photo not have anything "made by man"; that includes feeders.

PSA rules also require that you can not do any manipulation such as replacing the perch with a tree limb.

What if you just changed it's color to brown?

If the competition follows PSA rules for Nature, there are almost no changes, outside of cropping you can make.

OK so much for that. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with the original

Very nice shot. However, it does go against PSA rules so it doesn't matter whether or not you agree with them, you have to abide if you chose to enter.

Two suggestions: it is cropped very tight, especially in front of the bill; and the eye is a little soft.

Otherwise, it is a very nice image.

I agree, the crop is a little tight.
It couldn't be used in a nature competition, but it is a good capture
