This is from a small Hibiscus tree in my front yard. I thought it unusual and photogenic to have 3 blooms together -occurring naturally ! I do not normally do black backrounds - but this was mostly naturally occurring so I left it ! It is in direct sun (with NO clouds around) so I used a LARGE Tupperware container top as a diffuser held by my son to tone down the highlights.
This is my first use of a new to me vintage Sigma 24-135mm f2.8-4.5 - a fairly scarce lens - especially in Canon mount. Shot @ 135mm f8. Used the Canon 1D mark IV body @ 200 ISO hand held. Minor cropping.
Thanks to ALL for stopping by and for comment ! ......Larry
