I always check B&H for anything photographic or electronic. I get overnight shipping, but I don't pay sales tax. I just ordered a Yamaha keyboard for my son, and he'll have it tomorrow. If you live in NY, their Payboo credit card sales you 8% on whatever you buy.

The PayBoo credit card works to save you sales tax in any state that has sales tax.

I love B&H. My wife won’t let me go alone. I guess she is afraid that I will buy everything I see. So once or twice a month she lets me order stuff on line.
It’s not the same though. I like to fondle stuff and drool on all the neat stuff I can buy.
I may just retire and work in B&H.
Someone pays the sales tax, maybe not directly, but New York gets their taxes. Could be that B&H eats it, but the sales tax gets remitted. I live in Michigan, and they're the same.

I think PayBoo eats the sales tax hoping if you don't pay in time they get you for the interest.

I wouldn't dare go in person. We have a new Harbor Freight store in town, and I still haven't been there.
"I like to fondle stuff..." Maybe that's why your wife won't let you go there alone. 😂

But he only goes to B&H not meeting some women.
The NYS Income Tax Return asks if you purchased any items out of state and did not pay NYS sales tax, if so, you are required to list
them and pay the sales tax.

But in the case of you buy something from B&H and use PayBoo card the tax is paid.

I was there once back in Feb 2020 just before everything started shutting down form Covid for a tripod. On the way out, the guy at the door said, Don't come back without a bib!

Well, it's not like the tax isn't being paid. Payboo pays it. Most out-of-state companies charge sales tax, even eBay.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
A couple years ago, I applied for a Payboo card and was rejected notwithstanding an 800+ credit score. I notice they have switched banks for the card so I gave it another shot. Again, notwithstanding, providing them all the information needed to open the account, they sent a form letter giving me a phone number to call so that I could provide them the info they needed to evaluate my application. I declined to call back. I sense a sleaze factor here, something like shaking hands with Michael Avanati.
