As I said, I have been following these guys for about four days. Upon arrival, I didn't find anyone home. Disappointed, as is my habit now, I looked up in the trees and spotted a squirrel and then two. I realized they had left the hole and were now exploring. While I never saw the mom, I suspected she was nearby, as is typically the case.
Watching them leap from branch to branch, I was impressed by their skill level, even at this young age. My skill level with action shots is still in development, so sometimes, as is the case here, I share the moment captured even when they aren't perfect.
As always, I hope you have enjoyed this little adventure!
Fun set, Barb, but #1 steals the show.
Thanks, they certainly are cute

Thanks! Yup, they already know how to mug for the camera!
Cute, very good series, Barb.
Very cute photos and they exhibit a sense of blur where there should be some. Very nice.
With some have you tried flash at all? I know these may seem pretty far away but sometimes just a bit of flash will open the shadows and give a pleasant photo. I am not complaining about these very fine photos but am simply suggesting something you might try in the future.
