Kendall Indian Hammocks Park.

Located in the suburban area of Kendall, here in Miami, this is a park that was unknown to me till now. It opened in 2011.

The park I visit more often is Tropical Park but a visit to the Kendall Indian Hammocks Park yesterday opened my eyes. It has no lakes like Tropical Park but it has a more interesting landscape.

For sport lovers it has three football fields, a small gym, 36 holes of disc golf and a skate park. There are plenty of exotic trees and plenty of birds to watch although in April it begins to get hot in Florida and all of those migratory birds that visit the state during the winter months are mostly gone from here.
I took a few shots to give you an idea of what can be photographed in the park. The image of the trees in shot No. 2 called my attention, I do not know what trees they are but their presentation caught my eye.

Hopefully I will visit again Sunday, I will take my camera with me but like this one it will be a visit to explore this beautiful place. A friend, an avid videographer and influencer in social media invited me to a barbecue in the park.
I have nothing spectacular here to present but it will give you an idea of the photographic opportunities available to the photographer.

An addendum: I forgot to mention that I used the Nikon D610 with the 24-85 f3.5-4.5 AF-S. Some of the images shot at f8, ISO 800.
