Retired CPO Loc: Travel full time in an RV

There are a few species of birds that run across the surface of the water on top of those leaves. If it wasn't for the reinforcements on the bottoms like can be seen in #2, that wouldn't be possible. Great photos. Thanks for sharing!

Peter, the first picture is a fine image but it's not a lotus, it's one of the many water lily species though. The leaf structure and the central cone on a lotus are quite a bit different.
