Inflation is coming down at about the same trajectory as it went up. Energy and food are still the most volatile. Still too high, but I'm hopeful when seeing it trending down as it is. Not fast enough, but there is a fine line between soft landing and recession for this post c***d economy. Yes, it is Bidenomics!

You have lost all reason and clarity of reality. If the Fed would follow your wish and decrease rates when inflation is still elevated and inching up each month, it would create a spiral throughout the economy all because of 'lil ole denny! 2% inflation on food and energy is the better scenario.

The rate of inflation is coming down. Prices have not and many of the price hikes far outstripped the reported inflation numbers. For example, the bread I used to buy went from $2.69 to $4.89 a loaf.

It's not all rainbows and unicorns, but compared to the doom and gloom and severe recession that was once forecast I'll take it.

3.4% inflation is where the economy has been many times before and survived. GDP is over 3%, wage increases are outpacing inflation, and the job market is good. Consumers are still heavy in spending and fueling the demand market and prices are just not going to go down quickly in that scenario.

Dude, beef is up 51 percent since Biden took office, groceries in general are up over 30 percent, and gas has gone from $2.72 when Biden took office to $4.19 today, so enough with that 2% energy and food inflation crap. No matter what they are reporting in their statistics that's now what is happening in the real world.

As to what should have been done differently. 1. should not have shut down during c***d. 2. encourage gas and oil leases instead of trying to stop them. 3. Keystone pipeline. 4. quit pushing the green agenda. 5. Blue states need to quit upping the minimum wage. 6. lower corporate income tax. 7. encourage local production of food products whenever possible. 8. get rid of government regulations that are stifling the oil industry. You can argue about the order, but any and all of these would cut inflation and make people better off.
