Dogs definitely love those squeaky toys. Mine removes the squeaker as soon as he can.
We worked in rescue years ago for Samoyeds. A rescue boy kept killing the squeakers we thought. Then one day he wouldn't eat. We thought it might be bloat so we rushed him to our vet and an x-ray showed a stomach full of squeakers. A shave of the belly and an operation later they pulled 13 out of him. HE WOULD TAKE THE TOY OUTSIDE WITH HIM AND "KILL" IT OUT THERE. Fifteen hundred and thirty dollars later we got him back home and decided to keep him. His name was The Jolly Man. He never had a smile leave his face, ever. He never got another toy with one of those squeaks in it ever again.
