Very nice! Did you encounter the bobcat in your neighborhood? I'm thinking I remember reading they sometimes frequent residential areas but maybe I'm thinking of foxes

You might try adding shadows under its back feet where the remnant of your cut is. Maybe the inside of its back leg too? Since the cat is fairly bright, I wouldn't go too far with shadowing. I also wouldn't want to see the cat itself too dark since it's so beautiful.

Thanks Linda. I'm still having trouble with shadows. My retarded right brain function doesn't allow me to visualize where they should go, what shape they should be or how dark. Usually, I can disguise it with a grass brush or the Clone Tool but I finally gave up. Frustrating but something I have lived with for 80 years now

I processed the Cat the same day I shot it several years ago so I have to believe it represents what I saw that day so I didn't want to change it.

It's cool. But the cactus is lit from the opposite direction as the cat.

Jack, when I made shadow many times I copy the object make it B/W. Flip it and then use blend it and how strong the shadow should be. The hardest part for me is to get the angle right. If it is just feet or paws I do a separate layer and just paint in the shadow.
