One day, while working with a squirrel, I could sense someone staring at me. It's not an uncommon experience lately, as frequently, another squirrel will be staring. A few will even go into the elevator pose and hold it until I pay up! It could also be because lately when I work with several squirrels and leave to work with another, I'll tell them to find me if they want another peanut! Yes, I do talk to my guys! So often, I'll turn to see one patiently waiting for me. It's really weird sometimes! Wish I could teach them to vocalize! Failing here as a Speech Pathogist! Today, instead, I looked up and saw a squirrel balancing on a small branch, staring straight at me. I'm unsure if this is the same one, but I've worked with a squirrel who loves to balance on small branches and gently rock back and forth as he munches on a nut. Hmm, I wonder if there can be autism in squirrels? They always impress me with their balance and their ease of maintaining it. I guess it's a necessary skill when you spend a good portion of your life jumping from tree to tree or onto the rooftops. I wish they offered some classes! Wouldn't mind sharpening my balance these days!

I tried to go through what is becoming my very poorly organized picture library and found a few.

As always I hope you enjoy!

Thanks, appreciate that! Maybe comes from being a Speech Pathologist. You have to know how to observe

Keep feeding those guys and you will have them eating out of your hand eventually. Wonderful photos of those squirrelly guys.
