A Mayfly On My House

While walking outside yesterday I thought I would take the camera. When I opened the back door I saw a mayfly on the side of the house. Back into the house I went to get the tripod. He was nice enough to sit there long enough for me to take a few photographs.

Nice spinner Dennis. Gets my juices flowing...it's still too cold back here for any hatches besides a few BWOs.

Thank you very much Mr. B. Here in Eastern Idaho the weather is a beautiful 60 degrees one day and the next could be 23 degrees. Yesterday it snowed heavily for 30 minutes but then melted off. I woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground but it will melt off later on or maybe snow again and then melt off. Whatever we get can't last too long. This coming week is supposed to be much warmer. The other problem is the wind. A couple of days this week I really thought I might be visiting Dorothy and Toto in Kansas.
