I took a walk through Stoneleigh today. The rain negatively affected the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. Here a short summary of the property: Stoneleigh occupies 65 acres in Villanova, PA. The land was purchased in 1877 by Edmund Smith, an executive with Pennsylvania Railroad. Smith constructed the stone residence that is the centerpiece of the property. The gardens were redesigned several times – the current design was completed by the Olmstead Brothers of Massachusetts in the mid 20th century.
Otto Haas (of Rohm and Haas Company) purchased the southwestern portion of the property (after it was subdivided) in 1932. In 1996 the Haas family placed the property under conservation easement with Natural Lands.
All photo were shot with a Nikon Z9 and a Pergear 14mm lens (manual focus).
It is a wonderful property that attracts migrant birds and provides exercise classes and cultural activities for children and adults.

Take a wide angle lens or zoom that can encompass a field of view of at least 24mm.
Always with me. I've got everything covered from 14mm to 500mm. Some are in my backpack, some stay in the car but all can be easily retrieved when needed.
