Since Samuel Benjamin Bankman-Fried, has been convicted of fraud, and was the number 2 donator to the Democratic Party, behind Soros, will those Dems who received contributions from him have to return the ill gotten gains so the victims can be compensated for their losses?

I think you'll find most of the money is tied up in space lasers.

I don’t think so.

First the so-called victims were technically investors who should have known the risks of investing in volatile, risky crypto. They can attempt to recover their investment by filing a lawsuit against FTX but good luck in that endeavor. Second, with extraordinarily little research I found reference to the Democratic Party stating that they will not use the money and will await a legal decision as to the ultimate disposition of the money donated. One possible option noted by the political entities in question would be to donate the money to charity. And finally, your post really needs to be moved to the Attic where the resident trolls will have a field day kicking it around a few times.

Yeah, well Bernie Madoff had “investors,” too, and a fraud was perpetrated against them.
Yeah, the Dems will return the money when a “legal decision” is made.
If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.
Considering the money came from fraud, you’d think the Dems would do the right thing, eh?
Once again showing their true colors.

Or the money from the Silicon Valley Bank (that we taxpayer happily paid for) or the S&L scandal years ago involving Busch's son & friends with only a slap on the hand? To the attic it is!

I guess they'll have to sell Bibles or sneakers to make up the difference.
