We had a beautiful time in Kauai. It was rainy at times affording us views of the many rainbows. We hiked the first 2.2 miles of the Kalalau Trail with 1100 ft of elevation gain and plenty of mud, I mean plenty. It was our first trip. There were roosters everywhere, crowing all the time. Beautiful birds, but you best love their sound. :) I took my first helicopter ride and it was open door by Jack Harter.
