Thank you, Joe. That part of the yard is pretty densely covered with trees and mostly shaded. That is why the birds hang out there, to hide from the hawk and owl which also fly over or visit the yard (the former more frequently than the latter). So we have a catch-22 situation I think regarding light.

They have a light red patch on their chest which is easy to miss. Also, there is the "Red-headed Woodpecker", a beautiful bird, but not as common as the RB.
