Timing is everything during the bloom. Lovely pictures from Ocotillo. I was planning to head that way this weekend but most everyone I've talked to has said that the bloom has already passed.

These were taken only a couple days ago but they don't last very long! They should still be good. But it's been unusually cool and rainy here so that might affect the blooming.
Update. I just took a walk around the RV park. Some are past prime, but several are still really good. I'm not even going to try to predict how long that will last!
