Some great Dodger history here.
On September 9, 1965, I was at Dodger Stadium with my soon to be wife to enjoy an afternoon of baseball.
I had no idea that I was about to witness history.
Lou Johnson scored the only run in that game but that was not what made history.
It was the game that Sandy Koufax pitched his perfect game.
These are nice Photos. I grew up a Dodgers fan is Santa Barbara, listening to Vin Scully every game. My favorite player was Wally Moon, an outfielder, number 9. My sister gave me a personalized license plate with part of my name and the number nine on it. I get to pay extra every year for having a personalized license plate but it’s worth it. The only autograph I’ve ever asked for was from Wally moon on my glove. I’m a Giants fan now, but my sister and brother-in-law are Dodgers fan, so I keep up on them too.
