Real Nikon Lover Loc: Simi Valley, CA

We had a little visitor come into the yard via the telephone lines. This juvenile tree squirrel was fairly social and kept coming back for popcorn I put on the wall for him and any other interlopers.

Z9 and 800mm PF with 2x teleconverter, shooting in DX mode hand held.

Firmware 5.0 AF was spot on.

Photo 1: ~30' distance and 20' up on telephone lines.
Photo 2 & 3 ~25' distance @ head level (6' block wall).
