A clearing storm reveals that the delicate young tree survived without being harmed. Very pretty!

The stable fixed-in-place greens with the turbulent moving storm reds contrast well and tell an interesting story.

I took the shot of the tree, with a memorial plaque in front of it. I took it not because it was interesting, but knowing I would probably use it in a composite.

The bushes and sky frame the tree beautifully. The centered composition feels stable, orderly, and serene. The warm colors remind me of sunset—peace at the end of day.

Well processed!

Thanks for how this composite affected you. The sun actually came from an early morning walk with the colors of sunrise on a foggy day. I then used a textured layer to enhance it. As I mentioned to Don there was nothing special about the tree when I took that shot. The tree and bushes were in a part of a memorial.
