When I was real young, my family lived in Fairhope. Our house was on a high bluff overlooking the bay. I remember times when an event called the " jubilee " would occur. Microbes in the water would cause fish and crabs to flee the water and get on the beach area....by the thousands. People would come by the hundreds....bringing buckets, tubs, cloth sacks, anything that they could load up the crabs and fish. I was only 5 years old but I remember those scenes like it was yesterday.

Nice photos. I grew up in Mobile and saw the kinds of birds you photographed. The Mobile river delta is teeming with birds and other wildlife.
