I have to focus myself on actually getting out there and around with my camera. Past several years, it's been me in my car in the wildlife area, shooting out the window with my super-telephoto. And only around my or the neighbors' yards with my macro for flowers. Easy to be lazy, but it bothers me....

We all thought that we had it made here a couple weeks back when warmer temperatures came in. For three days. We have had cool/cold and howling winds (some measures at 75mph in the middle of Lake Michigan yesterday) ever since, which show no signs of abating according to the forecasts.
Time for me to take a trip to G. Britain to enjoy some of the balmy, tropical weather there

Gale force winds, horizontal rain storms! Make sure you bring your souβwester and wellies with you Joe.
Iβm loving the last photo, especially the interplay of backlight and shadow in the lower right-hand quadrant. Sharp; crisp; and contrasty π€
