Sony a6400 batteries

I have a couple of a6400 bodies and a variety of batteries (Sony and third-party). Some of the batteries (again, Sony and others) still perform acceptably as batteries but are really difficult to remove from the camera body when they need changing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Maybe older batteries are starting to swell?

Not particularly, although I'm not sure. Never had this problem before on earlier camera bodies

Well, some batteries when they start going bad start to swell.
Over the past ten years I lost two to swelling.
