We had two of these beautiful Spotted Doves in our garden for a few years but they disappeared some months ago, maybe died sadly.
Over the last few days, we've got another couple who've taken up residence.
Here they are sunbathing on the birdbath...

Nice shots Ron. They tried to establish a colony of them in Southern California. They did OK for a while but slowly died out.

Nice image, Ron. I have a pair of doves who visit every Spring and nest in my area.

You probably wouldn't know who Lee J. Cobb (American actor) was, but the bird on the right immediately transmitted Cobb's name to me when I looked at it
