A new one for me

I just received a new external 6TB drive. It has to be plugged into an outlet as well as the computer. Rather coming with a standard outlet plug, it has about half a dozen modules so it can be used with any style of outlet worldwide. I don't know which module to use. It states not to use the wrong one. It is easy to tell the difference between the US and Europe, and there is a module with the tines at a 45-degree angle and another where they are horizontal. Where I'm confused is between two modules that look like US standards. The distance between the tines and the width of the tines are the same on both modules. The difference is that one has solid tines while the other has holes near the tip (see photo). Which module should be used?

Those are both variations of a NEMA-1-15 plug, you can use either.

The version with the holes is a bit more secure, there are bumps inside the socket contacts which will grab onto and fit into the holes, making it less likely to fall out of the socket.
