I'm so surprised at what people stock up on for hurricanes (and snowmageddons).
Pasta, rice, noodles, lunch meats, other perishables.... (I know, the joke is "milk, bread, eggs"...)
DON'T get stuff you have to add a ton of water to use.
DON'T get stuff that requires refrigeration.
Unless you have camp stove or gas stove in the house, get stuff you can eat right out of the can or package.
Ready to eat canned goods, NO condensed soups!
We used to use use up the stuff after hurricane season so we could start buying fresh things in the spring for the next season.
Been through over 25 hurricane seasons.
For snowmageddons, it's usually a matter of being able to get down the streets....
