We are very fortunate to have several in the Lehigh Valley and vicinity that date back over a hundred years, still owned by the original families. From the prerequisite farm cat to things like apple presses, these are items that make a farm special.

Nice series. Thanks for sharing. Takes me back when I was a kid visiting Grandpa's farm in Windsor Colorado.

…so easy to go back in history on a farm…very few things get thrown out…and people become creative in the way they used and reused what they had… “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without”…
