Im perfectly happy with my 2 Canon rebels, 77D and T7i. I have kit 18-135, 55-270(?), tamron 10-24, and my Tamron 150-600 zoom I bought with my stimulus check. I blow my wall hangers to 16 x 20 and to me still sharp.
As these cameras are crop sensor cameras if I go mirror less is this the time to go full frame too? My 77D shoots 6 fps so I'm happy there.
Thanks for suggestions. I really don't want to change brands because I like my lenses
I know there are adaptors but don't know how good they are to change brands

You have two fine cameras, alas, two that overlap in such a way they are much the same camera. Both are pro-grade cameras, like most all interchangeable lens cameras now in the 21st century. Both are built to last through numerous years of relatively heavy use indoors and outdoors. Don't worry about any new camera bodies until one (or both) of these bodies develops a problem that is too expensive to bother with fixing.

If you can't ignore the GAS, try ignoring UHH until the urge passes.

Thanks, my accountant finished my taxes and there is a refund coming. I bought the 77D as a retirement present for my self and about a year later I saw the T7i used for $450 from a private user who bought it and decided it wasn't for him and he wanted a rugged camera for outside like kayaking, hiking and I suggested the Olympus TG6. T7i had less than 100 clicks.
In the film days I always had my 2 Olympus film OM2-2M cameras with different lenses.
I'll keep what I have and explore the many features.
Unfortunately Canon has discontinued telephone support for the 77D rebel.

I suspect the kit 18-135 lens is an EF-S lens, for crop cameras only. If Canon changed and now allows crop lenses on full frame mirrorless bodies, the camera will go into crop mode and eliminate the contribution of over 1/2 the sensor pixels. I went to the R7 to get all the mirrorless features in a crop body.

What makes you want a full frame?

As for full frame I figured if upgrading go with larger sensor. 16 x 20 is as large as I'll print.

Full frame will let me crop more too.
Granted my logic can be faulty
I also do astrophotography through a 10 inch scope

Judging from your post I think you already know the answer to your question. Stick with what you've got.

Probably the best advice you have given in a long time.

While you already have capable cameras for your 16x20 print sizes, you don't have the numerous advantages mirrorless technology provides. You might consider selling one of the somewhat duplicative bodies you have now, then stashing the proceeds as an initial contribution toward an eventual move to a mirrorless body. The bodies are worth more now than they will be tomorrow, after all.
Given your existing lenses, the crop factor R7 is probably your best choice if/when you move to the mirrorless world.

Thanks for the information.
The trade in values of my bodies isn't a factor as I'll probably give them away.
Not going full frame sensor and staying crop is a real good idea but not sure if I'll be missing something for now or in future. I'm extremely happy with my selection of lenses so not changing them.
I love Canon customer service for any product and that's a plus to me.

Maybe spend some of that refund and get one of them full spectrum modified to improve your astrophotography.
