I have lost more knives over the last 70 years than I can count. Thats why I never carried Dads old knife
Similar here. A couple of them have been confiscated because I forgot to leave it in my car and entered someplace that did not allow them to enter. my latest was the helicopter that carried me to a trauma center after my motorcycle accident wouldn't let me keep it on me. One of the ambulance crew that got me to the helipad said he'd hold it for me, but that was a lie. I had to buy another one. None of them had any sentimental value so no real loss.
Interesting knives very well captured! How have You lit the first one so the blades turned out to look like painted in black? I recently had to shot some kitchen's cuttlery and to avoid specular highlights on chrome, I had to use some black cards letting them to be reflected onto the chrome parts. Quite tricky method to skip editing via PS or LR
Nice knifes! Is this CASE company a reputable "knives producer"? Is it the same company which produces big machines for construction?

Case knives always worked well for me.
Case Knives and Case Equipment are separate companies. William Russell Case and his brothers started the knife business in New York and Jerome Increase Case started the equipment business in Wisconsin, first producing threshers. The two families could be related from earlier days. Connections are strange. When I was at the University of Iowa, I resided in a residence hall close to a Case Werwerka who was connected to the Case family. He was a good fellow.
