I recognize that place. I'm pretty sure that's on the haul road north of the Arctic Circle and south of Prudhoe Bay. Approaching the North Slope. When I was there, I was expecting to see dinosaurs coming down out of the hills! It's a very cool place! A lot of caribou up there. I was hoping to see Musk Ox but no such luck!
It was one of those painfully beautiful fall days Dodie- like a fireworks grand finale where all remaining color, warmth and energy get hurled into display... it was a good day. THANKS!! Dodie!
Thank you! I was afraid the main light was too high but my Vivitar 283 kicked in just enough fill... just kidding, Barbara... It was a wonderful display of sunlight streaking through valleys and bouncing off 1,000 foot reflectors... a remarkable morning- and thanks for having a look with me!
