I like them, but know little about them. Since we have quite a few nearby, they fall into the handy target category when I can't find any wildlife or flowers. Their outdoor area is kind of muddy, but still beautiful animals:

Probably not very good housekeepers being animals, niteman 🤔🤔🤔🤔 but beautifully shot composition ⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a beautiful shot and horses. The only thing that could make it better would be green grass under them so do this again in a few months

That Buckskin isn't liking that camera at all. Looks like the sorrel (chestnut) has already shed its winter coat. Could think of a couple of reasons why the Buckskin hasn't.

Very nice shot of the action.

Whatever had them contentious, I don't think it was me because they were making strange noises and making little runs at one another before I was even in sight (very strange whinny from one or both of them repeated several times is what led me to hunt them up to see what the heck that sound was). It's a big paddock, probably a couple of acres and they kind of nudged one another and quick-stepped the whole way across. I never did figure it out whether sex or food or just playing was the cause, but they were feisty, and just toward one another as there were several others in the same paddock as placid as could be and paying them no attention. A mystery to me.

Well, I was being nice in saying that the one didn't want its picture taken, but hoping they were not mare and stallion turned out with others, because if a mare is not quite ready for any affection from him, she could kick him and break his leg. BUT, it may just be 2 of a kind. We've had as many as 77 at a time and I've seen 2 geldings play so rough, you'd think by watching that they were going to kill each other. That's just the little rough farm boy in them. I'd almost bet that's the case here.
