There's another one I thought was better, but I couldn't find it. "Wherever you are in the jungle, a lion is just a whim away."

Did you know that lions are in Africa, and tigers are in India? I never gave it much thought.

Funny you would bring this up, Jerry. On March 11th, Cindy Houk stated that she was going on an African Safari. Tigers are my favorite animal, so I was going to ask her to take some pics of tigers. Well, after thinking about it, I wasn't sure I had ever seen an African tiger. So, I looked it up and as it turns out what you just stated about tigers (Bengal) is right on the money. You'd think after 76 years, I'd know that. Well, now I do.

Actually, lions are open grassland and plains hunters. They only need small scattered woodlands for sheltered places to make their dens. So the African Savanna is perfect for them. Tigers are ambush hunters which do well in forests. There is one subspecies of tiger that lives in swamp/everglade type places with a mixture of dry grassy islands or woodlands and shallow water.
