Based on past experience, I was expecting to have to step over homeless people and trash and endure the smell of urine everywhere but it was actually quite the opposite. It was clean. I didn’t see any homeless people, I did see two tents. I was wondering, because it was Oscar night, maybe they cleaned them all out for Oscar night?
Whatever the reason it was clean and enjoyable.
It was a really nice day and the afternoon light was spectacular. Downtown is a target rich photo environment.

The tourist friendly areas of LA. can be cleaned up temporarily, the problem is keeping them cleaned up for more than a week!
