I'm not Bob but to "close down lens" means when you 'stop down' a lens, you close the aperture (to a larger f number, or stop) and it lets in less light to the film or shutter plane. it also increases your depth of field, or the amount of area of the frame that is in focus. Basically what he's saying is that you're taking pictures with everything (or as much as possible) in focus and then processing the bokeh effect in your editing software. It's been a bit since I saw your website but I dont believe that's the case. Either way you're work is awsome. doesn't matter how ou get the desired effect as long as it works and looks great :thumbup:
