Yes .... YES.

"There", as in "waaaaaay up there", works exceedingly well for the intended message.

And I do agree 100% with the message.

I've got them in the woods behind our house, and I hear them all the time at night. We've lived here 31 years and I've NEVER actually seen one. I look for them all the time while walking in the woods.

Once, while getting a Christmas tree at a farm about 35 miles from home, I saw one about 20 feet up in a tree just sitting on the limb. Only one I've ever seen in the wild.

I've been looking and haven't had much luck.

Sometimes it's good to check beaches.

Like Bill, we don’t give out location. Unless the owl gives it out first. This owl stole an Osprey nest on top of a local street sign.

You only need one, and an owl that knows where it is.

Do some research such as with Cornell Lab of Ornithology or Audubon about owls in your area. Owls tend to be crespuscular hunters and as such you will have better luck if you are out at twilight looking for them.

Speak of the devil...this morning. He/she never moved, but I walk through this part of our property all the time. I may not see them, but they know me well enough.
