In the news today, a Boeing Dreamliner took a sudden, dramatic drop, and fifty passengers were injured. Many were thrown to the ceiling of the plane. Wear your seatbelt! The airline - Latam(?) - basically ignored the situation. Passengers got a MacDonald's cheeseburger and a hotel room ten hours after landing. The airline apologized for "any inconvenience." The cause hasn't been determined yet.

Yea, one that won't hit air pockets.....

I leave my seat belt on.
If NEED be, I might loosen it a skosh.
Still won't fly out of my seat.

Perhaps they should install belts on the pottie-seats as well!

Picture that!

I won't pick Korean Airlines or Asiana. Their planes are OK but the pilots....

When I took a tour of China many years ago, we were scheduled to fly to another city - on Aeroflot. The tour director put us up in a hotel for the night so we could fly on a better airline the next day.

But that "weapon" wouldn't be allowed on the plane.

United would just leave you on the plane until the next shift.

It is not a weapon. It is a useful gadget and will break your window too.
