I would like to ask your thoughts on the placement of the top of the ridge line in the photo leaving so much space above?

To me, it gives the sense that even though it is a large object, it is small in the grand scheme of things. I would really like to know your thought process.

Hi Dodie. I like that it emphasises the openness of the scene. Mountains are usually strong subjects and they can take a bit of upstaging. Plus a good sky is hard to resist .

I covered much of the sky and the result is nowhere as nice as the existing shot.
