Just a note. A fun time to blow bubbles is when the outside temperature is near zero or below. The bubbles freeze and the surface crystalizes.

I think you have to add something to the bubble solution (glycerin?) to help the bubbles maintain their shape while freezing. Around this part of Ohio the past two winters haven't been cold enough to even attempt freezing bubbles!
