Credence was lost with the duck quack not echoing......

But calcium does dissolve in vinegar (acetic acid) - re: the pearls melting.

True about the duck quacks. I had a tin barn close to the pond and our voices would echo off the barn, as would the sheep and geese, but not the ducks. Weird!

Since he has "ears on" experience, I'm going to have to go with bikinkawboy.

What I have heard about Hershey Kisses, they were so named because of the sound made when the machine placed them on to the conveyer belt.

Average life of a Major League Baseball = 7 pitches. Wow! Nowadays, if a baseball even hits the dirt during a pitch, they discard it. I prefer the days of old (like 1950s) when a baseball would stay in use almost forever, unless, of course, it was a home-run or a foul into the stands.

Interesting. I'll add one more. If you pour gasoline into a styrofoam cup the cup will disintegrate and you will be left holding the top of the cup.

Once the tractor broke down and the repair wasn’t going as it should have. You know, like the most difficult bolt to reach being the one that refuses to loosen up. So I had a few choice words for it, such as “you no good xxxxx”. The echo came back and it was like the barn was cussing me out or making fun of me. I should have burned the barn down out of spite!
