Putting a "roof" on drawers will solve that problem.

Since I live alone I have the "Blockers" sitting near the stove on the counter handles down in a Crockery jar. And I took the stuff that was never used to Good Will when I moved !!

Most of mine are in old metal 2 pound coffee cans on the counter top that are spay painted different bright colors. I put the plastic lids on the bottom of the cans to protect the counter top.

Its either that or the hand-cranked eggbeater. At least twice a week.

No more little mixing devices for me. I got a big countertop mixer years ago. I can have cake batter ready for the oven before the oven is ready for the batter.

I like the little hand cranked one for French toast, but it is a bedevilment in the drawer, along with the potato peeler, the ice cream scoops, the cheese grater, the potato masher, bag clips, cheese slicer, oven thermometers, rubber get the jar lid off circles, the orange peeler .................I'll stop there.
