No harm, no foul Dennis! I've just never seen that before, really cool looking flower!

No worries Chief. I took absolutely nothing negative from your comment. I just don't pay attention to names of birds and plants. I don't usually remember anyway.

Thank you very much Earnest. I heard that recently on this thread from another member. Sorry but I like photographing the little tykes especially the tiny and completely harmless jumping spiders. I hope you like the others though.

Beautiful set Dennis. Spring has finally arrived here. Chance for rain on Wed. and Thurs. then slowly drifting up to the mid 80s over the next two weeks. Soon flowers, bugs and birds. I can't wait

Thank you very much Jack. I always appreciate your comments. Your coming of 80 degree days sounds most inviting. Enjoy.

Spring was coming to Eastern Idaho too. I left there at 2:30 AM on March 1st and almost every bit of the snow on the ground was about gone. Seems like I left at the right time because when I arrived in Colorado my friends told me I missed 2 feet of a very wet and heavy snow that was bogging down snow blowers to the point they would not work at all. Weather in Colorado is pretty sunny but it did snow yesterday morning right up until the sun came out to melt it all off. Next week I will be in South Dakota helping a friend with calving. Hopefully the weather cooperates there too.

Like I said, Dennis, great series, even the spider, I am only afraid of them in person, pictures of them are hard to look at, but harmless.

Not a problem. I don't really like them but do like photographing them from time to time. Snakes are my most feared animal. I enjoy watching them IF I see them first and can get up close. But I will never touch them or even think about it as others do.

Have a great day,

Dennis

Very nice set. The pink rose is beautiful, and #9 is pretty cool.

Thank you Sylvia for your as usual great comment and especially for knowing the bougainvillea flower. Often I know the names of these things but just could not bring it to mind. I think my Golden Years are a bit tarnished.
