NICE photo Tom. Love these old barns. Lots of history tied to all of them, if only they could talk. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Hi, Tom.

On a rare occasion, I get to learn the history behind some of my subjects. The story of the humans involved exposes a generational shift, one that makes these old structures almost inconsequential today.

Yes, and the interest in the story it could tell never wanes.

Thanks for looking in and for commenting.

Nice shot, Tom. That old fellow is in trouble unless someone fixes his roof pretty quickly.

Love the picture- - and I zoomed way into it; also enjoyed the ‘middle age' comment.

You know it, John...that's the key to longevity.

I don't know, Kathy. All of my old friends get drunk every Friday night...whether they need it or not.

Thanks, Earnest.

The big Amelia Island show is set for this Sunday. I'm hoping the weather doesn't screw it up.

Judging by a lot of them I see, I'm tempted to judge this one as being only middle aged.

Not bad atall. Even got one of them new slated skylights.
Lots of life left in the building if anyone cares.
In better shape than some of the garages in our alley.

Hi, Boris.

John ( jaymatt ) has always noted, and I agree with him, that a good roof is mandatory to longevity. If they want to extend the life of this barn, they have to deal with that issue "el pronto".
