I would love to be able to combined these two shots of my father. The first one was taken when he was 8, my great uncles then had a painter commissioned to create a painting from the photo and it now hangs in the Moose Lodges in the state of PA.

I would love to take the original shot and superimpose my father at age 87 into the shot but I am no where near good enough with photoshop to do this and make it look professional.

Is there anyone on here that would be willing to take on this project? I am more than happy to pay for the work.

I have attached both the original that I scanned into the computer and a photo that was taken of my father just this past week.

Anyone willing to help?

Well, you provided good downloads, so you will likely get a few samples of what can be done by some of our better skilled participants.

Note that no one should be charging for this.

I would say you don’t give yourself enough credit for the skills you have!

I like it.
First suggestion is to select old Dads face and hands and use a Brightness/Contrast filter to lighten his skin a bit to more match things. I also added a B&W adjustment layer and changed the blend mode to soft white at about 80%.

Thanks!! I will do exactly what you suggested, the color and skin tone looks so much better in your edit.

You may want to go through and clean up some of the blotchiness and spot it a little better, I haven't any more time to spend on it right now.

Except you did a great job cleaning up and making the right glasses lens clear! Excellent! I overlooked that detail.
