2024-02-25 Marksmen vs Quad Cities

They say you can't win them all, but after the initial faceoff, all hopes were dashed as the Marksmen lost their 6th in a row. Not much action around the net by the home team to even capture. Here are a few, though, taken with my Z9 paired with the Tamron 35-150 f2-f2.8. SS 1/1000, f3.2, ISO 2500, EV +1.

Lost 6 straight? Sounds like a great record—Arizona Coyotes just lost their 13th straight last night. Glad I didn't have to be there taking pictures...

Thank you for the kind words. I was living in Glendale when the Coyotes came to Phoenix! I still have one of their funky two faced logo t-shirts!!

While the fights never particularly interested me, my dad, who was a fan of prizefighting, loved the fights. I wonder what he'd think today while watching two NHL enforcers slugging each other's helmets until their hands were too sore to go on, so one just drags the other to the ice...
