This was taken at an old mining site near Death Valley. In its day, it looks as if it may have been a pretty comfortable home. Looks like it started out with a 'shake roof' and then was relegated to a metal roof. I always wonder about the folks who worked and lived in places like this. Stories that will remain untold.
