Hi, my name is Mike I am by profession a sports journalist but trained more in artistic work (MFA from SCAD in painting/fine arts). Most of my photographic work is landscapes, sports, some architecture. I also do a lot of work about the body of athletes and self-portraits after being intrigued by ESPN's famous Body Issue of nude portraits of various athletes. I mostly shoot with the Canon R5 but am fortunate to have an ARRI Alexa from my job and use it for still photos (which yes, it can do!) as well as filming.
